Q. How much does this raise the seat by without the lowering bracket?
A. 80mm.
Q. How much does this raise the seat by with the lowering bracket?
A. None, this is back down to OEM level and highly recommended to have.
Q. Is this M1 tested
A. Yes, this is supplied in the box, the swivel has been tested on its own and the lowering bracket has been tested on the swivel too.
Q. I want to fit the swivel with the lowering bracket myself, can I do this?
A. Unfortunately not, ourselves or trader are the only ones to fit this due to cutting the seat legs down. Although, you can fit the swivel on its own without the bracket.
Q. Is there fitting instruction in the box?
A. Yes, this comes in the box.
Q. How far does this extend by?
A. 500mm.
Q. Is there any modifications needed to the seat?
A. For the swivel only, this will only require the rubber mat to be cut. For the lowering bracket, yes.
Q. What happens if I have heated seats/airbag tensioner wiring under the seat?
A. This will still work, you will need to carry a 7mm socket with you to unscrew the bolt for the wiring, once removed, push out the way. Make sure this is plugged back in before turning the ignition on.
Q. Can I drive with my airbag tensioner wire/plug disconnected?
A. No! This will result in warning lights on your dash.
Q. I have a thicker floor than you recommend, will this still work?
A. We only recommend using 9mm batons, 9-12mm ply floor plus vinyl. Anything thicker than this could cause your sliders to break.
Q. How can I ensure my swivel moves freely?
A. By making sure there is no debris on the floor when installed.
